About Me.

I’m Ed — a BSc Product Design graduate from Bournemouth University, currently based in Oxford, UK.
Since graduating in 2025, I have continued developing as a designer through independent projects, ongoing learning, and engagement with the design community.
Approach
What excites me most is being able to design something that improves someone's everyday experience. I believe good design follows function and is developed from the inside out. I'm drawn to projects that address real problems and allow for functional and aesthetic iteration.
Everyday Essentials
Apple Wired Earphones - A direct solution without charging or connectivity issues. The design makes use and intent clearly visible.
GULLSUDARE Lamp shade - A product shaped by material and cost constraints. Flat-packed and simple to assemble, with an efficient overall experience.
Fussy Deodorant - A refill system that rethinks a disposable product through long-term use. Designed to support more sustainable behaviour.
Beyond Design
You will find me outdoors; hiking, playing tennis, or walking the dog. Here I find mental clarity and can reset after a busy stretch. I'm a big music fan, Beach House and Michael Jackson have been on repeat lately, which tells you my taste has no consistency. I'm in the gym most days too, often forgetting to play music because I'm too distracted by an idea. Fashion is another creative outlet for me, I probably spend more than I should on clothes, but I like to look good to feel good.
